History
The Texas Legislature created Harris-Waller Counties MUD No. 7 (“HWCMUD 7”) in 2021. Originally the district consisted of 91.633 acres. HWCMUD 7 currently encompasses approximately 131.769 acres and is located in both Harris and Waller Counties, Texas, approximately 38 miles northwest of downtown Houston. HWCMUD 7 is approximately 1.5 miles south of US Highway 290 and approximately 8.5 miles west of State Highway 99. HWCMUD 7 is generally bordered on all sides by acreage.
